ALPACOM 32 and TIMEX TS204 Printer Power Supplies

The ALPACOM 32 and TIMEX TS2040 printers use very similar AC output power supplies.

The AC input feeds a full-wave bridge.  The bridge diodes drop about 0.7 volt each, for a total of 1.4 volts.   The TIP100 emmitter follower power trasistor has a 25v zener diode at it's base and needs about 27 VDC on it's collector to produce 24VDC output.
